Dr. Jolanta Piszczek is a Board Certified Infectious Diseases Pharmacist and the chairperson of the British Columbia COVID Therapeutics Committee. Prior to this role, Jolanta spent 15 years practicing in various settings including community pharmacy, primary care, acute care and within the pharmaceutical industry. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Pharmacy from the University of British Columbia and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Toronto. Jolanta has also received a Master of Science in Evidence-Based Medicine from the University of Oxford. Her passion is to hone the truth through her analysis and critical appraisal of medical and scientific information to give confidence to policy makers and clinicians in making the best decision for patients.
